Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

What you'll do

We're looking for a senior fullstack engineer to work closely with our CTO and help shape the future of YaVendio's AI commerce platform. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can move comfortably across agent logic, backend systems, and frontend product surfaces. You'll lead technical decisions, ship critical features end-to-end, and help raise the engineering bar across the company. At YaVendio, our software powers conversational commerce for thousands of merchants across Latin America. Our stack includes LangGraph agents, Python microservices, Next.js applications, and real-time messaging infrastructure that supports millions of WhatsApp conversations. You won't be joining a narrow product area. You'll be helping drive the platform as a whole.

• Own features end-to-end across agents, backend services, and frontend applications
• Partner closely with the CTO on architecture, technical direction, and key platform decisions
• Improve platform reliability across deployments, observability, incident response, and production readiness
• Define and maintain engineering standards that help the team ship with consistency and quality
• Support and unblock engineers when work spans multiple systems or repositories
• Review and approve pull requests across backend and frontend codebases
• Design evaluation workflows and review gates for AI-generated and agent-produced changes

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production fullstack systems
• Highly proficient in Python and TypeScript, especially FastAPI, async systems, React, and Next.js
• Experience building or operating LLM-powered products using LangGraph, LangChain, or similar frameworks
• Worked on production infrastructure involving PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, CI/CD, and containerized systems
• Can independently take a B2B SaaS feature from concept to production
• Use AI coding tools heavily in your daily workflow, including Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar
• Comfortable operating in English at an advanced level
• Thrive in fast-moving startup environments with high ownership and limited hand-holding
