Software Engineer, Fullstack

What you'll do

We're hiring a fullstack engineer who can take ownership of a feature and deliver it across every layer it touches. At YaVendio, features rarely live in a single repo. A single project may involve an AI agent tool, a backend service, a database migration, and a merchant-facing dashboard. We want engineers who are excited by that scope and who don't need handoffs to move work forward. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building end-to-end, works well across ambiguity, and wants to ship meaningful product fast.

  • Build and ship complete features across backend services, AI agent tools, and frontend dashboards
  • Work across the full stack: API endpoints, database changes, frontend components, workflows, and internal tooling
  • Build merchant-facing product experiences and connect them to AI-powered capabilities
  • Maintain production microservices and integrations with a focus on reliability
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on implementation decisions and system design
  • Move quickly and pragmatically, with a strong bias toward shipping
  • Contribute across multiple repositories as needed to get a feature fully delivered

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications
  • Comfortable working in both Python and TypeScript
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and asynchronous backend patterns
  • Can read, understand, and extend large codebases you didn't originally write
  • Use AI coding tools heavily as part of your daily workflow
  • Can communicate clearly in English at an advanced level
  • Like owning problems end-to-end rather than working in narrow silos
